The Protocol Has Been Signed Between AYSAD and MEB (Ministry of National Educational) Technical Educ
For a while, AYSAD(Elevator and Escalator Endustry Association) which has a contribution to education by collaborating with Technical High Schools; was signed under a protocol with MEB in order to rise up its own activities to a much more official position.
The protocol that has been resulted after a preparation period, was signed in 2 December 2008, on the office of MEB in Ankara between General Education Department Director Dear Osman İbrahim and the member of AYSAD’S Execution Committee Dear İzzet Güven.
For the name of AYSAD and MEB, the protocol was signed by Technical Education General Director Dear Hüseyin Acır and Dear President Sefa Targıt. As an obligation that caused by the protocol, AYSAD will support to provide the course equipments and helpful documents as the needs of Samandıra Technical High School’s Elevator Department.
We hope to achieve the goal of this enterprise between Industry-Educational Institution as a well done collaboration example.
We got the ideas of Dear İzzet Güven who becomes a pioneer on the attempt of signed protocol and Samandıra Technical High School’s constructed Elevator Laboratory.

“The measure of one country’s development stage is its human resources. If one country contains well educated and developed human resources, then it goes forward. Whenever, the citizens of one country have been sophisticated on art, it is obviously that country gains a total success on art. However, there emerges a great progression on these issues, while the human resources have an engineering orientation. For example, the progression subject of Italy is art, not automobile like Germany. It is so clear that to supply qualified elevators to market, we have to rise up our technical personnel’s quality.
While there is a sufficient human power on Turkey to produce the components of elevator, beside this the lackness of education for montage and after sale service is seen. Yet, I had knew the needs of this sort of personnel in Turkey and thought what to do related to this subject.
In this point, by coincidence I was invited to an opening of a laboratory which was the production of a collaboration between Samandıra Technical High School and a company. I had an opportunity to recognize the director of the school, Mr. Aslan on the opening day. I shared my idea about founding a department that carries an aim through education for personnel. Mr. Aslan assessed this subject with a huge excitement and desire. In a little short time, we contacted to discuss the subject and he maintained us knowledge related to how we can apply this project.
A laboratory had to be built and we had to provide equipments to build up this laboratory. In this respect, I thought to share this idea with the AYSAD members. I sent an e-mail to all members which expose the related subject and I understood how much is this project right by receiving e-mails from the members just after a 5 minutes. In these replies, the first support was offered by Aybey Elevator. From here, I wish to thank Dear Melih Aybey.
After a while, we got various supports from our different members. Here and now, I do not want to give these names but in soonly ı will share these idealist people and company names with you.
While the laboratory was completing, in 2008 spring we wished to review the course contents if it would be possible for us to fulfil it. When we had reviewed, it was seen that there need to add the current knowledges and got rid off from the olds. We took the school Directory’s advices if it could be possible or not. We saw that, it was only possible by making a protocol. Thus, the application to MEB with the protocol was done.
In this stage, Dear Hüseyin Acır and Dear Sefa Targıt’s heavy program became an obstacle through this way. The program of Sefa Targıt was not suitable for the cause of Milano Elevator Fair in November. Not having time to sign under the protocol, caused several delays. In the end, the agreement was made in 2 December 2008.
In 2 December 2008, about 6.30 a.m. we met in Gebze ahead of the factory of Asray to drive the direction of Ankara. Along the way, we had made a discussion and gave tea breaks for several times. At last, it was arrived to the gate of MEB in Ankara. General Education Department Manager Dear Osman İbrahim welcomed us. We were immediately accepted to the room of Technical Education General Manager Dear Hüseyin Acır.
After a few minutes he joined us. Both parts expressed their content in due to reaching this point on the debate related to education. Warm concern and sensivitiy about possesing the subject made us so glad.
By the signed protocol, at first time in Turkey, the elevator firms have obtained an occasion to cite their current knowledges to the educational institutions and also to found technical personnels who are implemented with current knowledges.”
